M SMTP
Every wp_mail() through your own SMTP, with a full log
What it does
WordPress sends mail with PHP's mail() by default, which is unreliable and often lands in spam. This routes every email (core, WooCommerce, form plugins, anything) through your own SMTP server, and records what happened to each one.
Features
- Host, port, SSL/TLS/STARTTLS and authentication, with credentials settable as wp-config constants and stored passwords encrypted
- Connection test with the full SMTP conversation transcript
- Email log: subject, recipients, headers, attachments, status, error, and which plugin sent it
- Resend or forward any message, individually or in bulk
- Open and click tracking, with sent/failed charts over 7, 30 or 90 days
- Conditional routing: different SMTP connections by subject, content, address or source plugin
- Rate limiting per minute, hour, day, week or month, with the rest queued
Installing it
- Download the ZIP above.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP and install it.
- Activate. The defaults are safe to leave alone; everything else is optional.
Licensed GPL-2.0-or-later. No account, no licence key, no phone-home. Where a plugin can talk to an outside service, that is off until you switch it on.
